Terms and Conditions
Quoted Work
You will receive a quote which will need to be agreed prior to work commencing. On occasion and if necessary, you may be advised of any further work needed that wasn't in the original quote and your approval will be needed before continuation of work.
We will not be liable for any economic losses arising in any manner whatsoever out of any delays to, or complications with, the completion of any bicycle servicing or repair you have asked us to undertake.
We may recommend further work that is critical to your safety and the full functionality of your bike. If you choose not to go through with our recommendations, it may not be possible to complete the agreed services if the work identified endangers the user of the bike if it is not carried out.
Collection & Drop-Off Fee
The fee will include pick-up/drop-off within the local area at a suitable time agreed in advance. Due to spatial confinements we regretfully have to charge a storage fee of £5 per day for any bike not dropped off by us or collected by you within 3 days of work completion. We retain the right to dispose of any bicycle that has remained in our possession for more than one month.
Repairs/Upgrades
Components are chosen and sourced at our discretion unless the customer specifies the components to be used. If specified component is unavailable we will offer an alternative. Supplied second hand parts may be sourced and fitted to retro or vintage bikes at the customers request, but as their condition cannot be certified they cannot be guaranteed.
Customer supplied parts can be fitted but we can offer no warranty or guarantee for these parts. The customer is advised to seek information from their supplier/manufacturer regarding any warranty or guarantee.
If we have to order parts to complete your repairs, your completion date may be delayed. If this is the case we will notify you as soon as we can.
Payment
Full payment is required prior to or when the bike is returned/collected depending on payment method. In some instances components will need to be paid for before fitting, this generally is only required for high cost items and for low value bikes. If the customer changes their mind about the work being carried out on their bike, depending on the progression of the work, a charge may be made to refit existing components/return bike to previous state. In some instances this may not be possible, for example, if a broken component was being replaced. In this instance it may render the bike unusable unless the appropriate repairs are carried out.
Payment failure will result in the bike being sold to recover costs resulting from work carried out and the remaining funds returned to you. Payment failure is the result of no contact for 5 days after work is completed or if customer clearly states that they are withholding payment.
Workmanship Guarantee
The work carried out and parts used are selected to be best-fit for each application and are expected to last a reasonable amount of time/usage. If there are any areas where you are not happy with the work carried out, or have experienced parts failure, please contact us and we will work with you to find a solution. We will rectify any faults caused by our own work or a defective/incorrect part fitted by us, free of charge to the customer and at their convenience (where reasonably practicable). Any damage/faults/other resulting on your bike as a consequence of falls/accidents/heavy use/other will not be covered by us. Our work is covered for a 30 day period, commencing from date of invoice payment. Normal wear & tear (including punctures) is not covered in this warranty or guarantee.
Abuse
We will always work with our customers to find solutions to problems that may arise. We treat our customers, existing or potential, with respect and expect the same in return. Abuse, verbal or physical, in person or online, will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will cause all communication to cease and render all guarantees void. Any bike being repaired may be returned unless payment is due. The bike may be returned in an unusable state depending on work progression.
